Evo vs S13!

I was out like always on saturday night at the races...looking for something to take on, and much like always it was more of a car show than a race night. But a crew called x-factor happens to roll out, and I was told I could race one of their cars...a brand new Evo. Yah...I had to do it, even though I always have bad luck taking on AWD cars *like the only time I got busted...*

We go out to the fields and line up....the flagger moves us into position...and we rev up...he motions to me, I flash my lights as I sit at 4.5K rpm, he motions to the evo, he flashes...arms go down and I feather the clutch, at first getting traction, but then spining from 5 on to 7k rpm, and just before I reach time to shift to second I hear the evo launch, perfectly and just blazing past me. I slam it into second and grab traction, ripping after him. My engine roaring, keep gaining on him...rpms rising as I gain length after length. Top of third i'm on his ass and the quarter mark is quickly approaching, I shift to 4th and get along side in time to look over and see him shift not noticing I'm with him, and just before the mark I gain enough to take the win. His nose was right behind my door....so close of a race everyone was yelling and jumping back at the line.

Later...I raced a stock GST..."hey, you wanna run?" -me
"sure, how much"
"look at my car....I dont have any money, lets do this for fun"-me
"come on...for gas man!"
"ok...I got 5 bucks..."-me
"all I have is a twenty of four bucks"
"ok...four it is!"-me

well, I didnt know it was stock...I was a little supprised how he was all throwing money around and wondered if he was squeesing....he wasnt and not only did I hand him his ass, but from the launch alone I had a car on him....2nd...well it was bad.

Weird thing is he handed me the money happly, like he paid to race me? OmiKRon indeed....

all in all i'm having my fun...at least untill my project starts!!!!!

I kinda ran with one from a 3rd gear roll but I don't know if he was gettin on it all the way it was quiet and I wasen't even paying attention to him I was tryin to do a nitrous fly by on my boy's camera. Who knows!? cant wait till I get to officially race one and see how I do.

yah, I bought frys, coke and used the rest twords gas!

the evo said he beat me, but hasnt driven out sence...saying his clutch is bad so he dosent want to drive :shakehead

i just had my encounter with an evo-8 myself, but the guy i raced was a chicken.

good kill TV. i wish my friend with the EVO would give me such a head start. the closest thing to that was my friend in his STi letting me launch and he was rolling off the line and i still lost by 1 car!! anyways good kill man.

others are feeling my pain. the next time i see a fart can civic i'm going ballstic on my 240 and get a SR. Then i'll get a paint job on my car that says "RICE EATER" and devote my life to spanking fart cans.
