There are these two tribes in Africa, one tribe only tells the truth and the other tribe only tells lies and are a bunch of cannibals. A man, on his way to see the truth telling tribe, comes to a fork in the road and sees a member of one of the tribes. He has no idea which tribe he belongs to because both tribes dress the same. Knowing that if he ends up at the liars tribe he will be killed and eaten, what ONE question can he ask this man at the fork in the road that will GUARANTEE him he will get to the truth telling tribe?

The man asks the guy at the fork if hes a male. If they guy replies with a no you say which tribe is the Truth telling one. He will lie to you so you pick the other one. If he says yes he is a male then his from the Truth telling one and you just ask which is which. I know there is another one thats the real right answer but mine is still right.

I'm pretty sure the answer has something to do with the fork in the road. Literally, the "fork".

There is only ONE person at the fork in the road. That ONE person could be from either tribe. You need to ask a SINGAL question that will get you to the correct tribe whether that person is going to LIE or tell the TRUTH.

What question will get you to the truth telling tribe?

I pose a problem with your answer... say the liars are to the right and truth is to the left...

if its a liar at the fork and he asks if he should go left then he'll say no, but the truth person would say yes... but! he doesn't know if hes lying or telling the truth so he wouldn't know if he should go left or right still

its an opinion question so each tribe wants him to go a different direction making your question not work



and now for whoever said something about the cubs... yes that would tell you if he was lying or not, but you only have one question and your one question doesn't help you choose a direction, it only helps you figure out if hes a liar or not... thus not solving the problem
