i know this has been asked before, i just cant find it....what does it take to get 18" rims to fit good without rubbing too much? i am planning on getting 18x 7.5 chrome motegi MR7s... im aiming for looks more than performance....im not making a show car...just something to look good... so if this is not your taste, im sorry. but i dont want it to rub alot....but i would really like to have 18"s so if u have any suggestions, send them my way... oh yeah...FYI..my car is an 88 civic dx hatch.

also...will 90,91 bumpers bolt right up to my car? if anyone has some for sale...tell me... or can you buy jdm replica bodykits? i want to keep a realatively stock body besides a lip or somthing....by the way...it would help out better if the bumpers are red...

thanks

I'm sorry that you need help, but lets see...

First of all, why do u want 18's on our old Civic's with small wheel wells?

Second, I'm sorry for not reading your whole post before saying the "first" comment.

Third, I'd say make sure the offset is 40mm+ (42 etc...I don't have experience with 18's so this is just what i'm thinking though.

If u want a "JDM" replica, I guess u could get a Wings West kit, that kit isn't too flashy or anything and looks pretty good on a hatch.
