I have a 98 camaro and about once every 3 or 4 days when i am on the highway or in 4th with my revs up i push in the clutch and the revs drop down to zero and my battery shows about 10 volts. It has a new battery and alternator and they both checked okay, i also cleaned the battery connections. It will only stall when i pushed in my clutch and only when i'm going over 55 or so. I've only had the car about a month so I'm new to camaro's and i'm getting kinda lost with trying ideas, so thank you for any help you have.

Open diode in alternater. Diodes usually short out but I have seen them in open condition.which means not enough DC voltage being produced from alternator.especially at low RPM'S

My old car used to stall similar to yours. I changed the fuel filter and it never happened again. Any idea when yours was last changed?
