hanging with supra TT

well im happily boosting 12psi! :icon16: :evillol:
so i seen this nice supra tt with a fmic, apex-i n1 exhaust, nice paint job but a ugly ass kit.. he with this up and comming crew out here "outlawz"
btw im suppose to race their 96 maxima and gs-t. but after the run in with the supra i think they wont wana run.. :evillol:

so im see him turn on to local streets and i gass it to catch him.. so i catch him and he seems reluctant to race me.. so i slow down to 20ish and gas it to 35 and catch him back and each time my by pass and turbo sounds loud so by the third time he gets the idea so he gears down and we both are doing 30mph.. so i hear he punch and so do i, i never got past him EVER! but i stayed with him form 30 to 70ish.. we were head to head he shifted into 3rd im assuming as did i and he didnt pull away from me i was with him all the way through.. we shut down about 70ish b/c we were comming up to traffic. he was shocked! he look on his face was like :eek7: exactly.. haha he just drove off so did i, lol by this time i got so caught up in the run i was about 20 blocks form my house lolz so i bust a u and drive home with a big ass grin on my face! hehe :biggrin:

i can wait to put a hole in that max and gst..

hells yea! haha i have to find more traction! i break traction from a stop.. i didnt try launching it yet ! hehe soon tho.. i can only imagine it tho.. i gotta try it tommorow.. also the feeling of being slamed into your seat when the turbo kicks is amazing.. damm i wana drive around for the rest of the night. i gotta go on the hi way with it.. now i just have to find a way to get somemore top end. damm it BOOST ROCKS! now im thinking up getting a chip and a 255intank and upping it some more to 15psi hehe..

I think he is messing with you, for a future money run. My buddy does that often with his car. You race someone with a faster car, and act like you lose, then their buddies act hesitant to run you, but do it for money. A supra with those mods would be putting close to 310 whp, which would snark your car something silly. Heck if the one guy beat you on here with his KA24DE engine and a turbo, you better bet a supra will put up alot better fight. Then again you didn't run up into the higher speeds, so it is feasible (Supras are notoriously heavy, and top end animals).

yea honestly i think he was toying with me.. i cant stand up to a supra tt.. he was probably in 3rd or something and when he shifted he went into 4th.. so he would of been way out of his powerband for that speed.. but i still got the confused look from him when he say that he could leave me behind.. he probably taught i was some ricer with a exhasut.. i showed him! well what ever the case may be it was fun and even if he was not trying it felt good he didnt kill me by like 5 cars lolz.. build your self esteme up..

also when i raced tat my car had alot of problems, i was runing with a cracked exhaust mainflow which lead to shitty spool up for the turbo and also i was running shitty 89 octane.. car was misfireing like a bitch and i had platinum plugs in the car which suck for a turobo.. and i was boost only 7psi at about 3500rpms .. that really sucks
now i have all the problems fixed. copper plugs, 93 octane, and 12psi @ around 2500rpms.. it should be intresting next time i run tat.. i probably will loss but not as bad as last time..

you forgot one thing...it says in the owner's manual for the Supra that it cannot lose. period.

To do what 2000LS1Z28 said, get you to think you're faster than you really are so you think you can hang with a TT Surpa, but get spanked by a Max or whatevers.

My buddy runs an 11 sec. Z28. He tricks people into thinking he is slow, by losing to slower cars. He has a nitrous tank that is well hidden, and a secret switch, so that if you do spot the juice he acts like he deactivates it, but has a seperate line to it. Just to give you a clue he has the slowest car in his group. Here are the mods that I know of on his car:

The car runs 11's when he has traction. His buddies run 9's.

yea i get the point i wont race a supra tt for money.. i'm not that dumb.. i know where my limit is and who it is possible to beat and who it isnt.. im only about a mid to low 14 sec car.. not nuthing special.. just enought to beat out the ricers and some mildy fast cars.. hopefully next weekend when i race the max and gst from outlawz the tt will be there and i can chat with him (if he decieds not to be cocky) and ill get to know if he was messing with me which i think he was..

did somebody say my name? i've been soo busy working at speedworld this whole summer that i barely get to go online at my friends house. ( they are not home very often either lolz ) anyways turbo2nr if you want a rematch i'll gladly give it to you. i'm curious to see how much faster your car got as well. but this time we race to 100mph, not 80

hehe i got no problem with that! im game just have to wait till this damm rain dies down damm it!
