hitch question for '01 SE

I'm looking at buying a 2001 Pathfinder 4x2 SE that does not have a tow package (but I need it). I was noticing looking at it on the lot that the spare tire is mounted just under the rear bumper and got to thinking that it looked like that there is not a lot of room to install a hitch. Did I just not look closely enough and there is room for a reciever hitch or will I have to mount the tire somewhere else (rear door) to make room for the hitch?

They wrap around the spare tire, just get a hitch specifically for the Pathfinder and you'll be fine.
