The gst comes turbocharged from the factory. The motor has been proven to easily take over 400whp without even breaking a sweat. 12 psi is about what stock boost is, so the engine can take quite a good bit more without any problems.

the stock boost is already set at 14psi... and as for how much the motor can handle, you cant really measure it in psi... its all about air flow in lbs/min! i've heard the stock motor can handle up to 400hp.

yep. I know a lot of people with 300-350 wheel hp on their daily driving GS-Ts and GSX's. Been driving them around for ages, and hard too, might I add...they really are good motors.

the car can handle alot of boost. anything higher then 15psi you'll run into fuel cuts, figure on getting a fuel controler.

You don't rate a turbo in terms of psi...you can control the number of psi you choose to run on your turbo with a boost controller.

What kind of turbo is it? What kind of "engine kit" are you talking about?
