Finished brake job, but one problem

My brake pedal gets stuck if i push it all the way, and when i push it in a little bit it slowly comes back to the default postion... I don't want to drive it like this so i don't knowwhat happens on the road, but if my car is on and I push the pedal... it comes back up really slow...


what did I do wrong?

how did u blead the brakes did u bleed them like the book says??

I used a C clamp to bleed them.

you need to bleed them at the bleeder valves, get some one to pump up the brake pedal, then open the valve to release the air in the line helps to put a small hose on the valve and run it into a jar of brake fluid, that way when the air bubbles stop coming out you'll know your done. keeps from air getting back in the line also. do that for each wheel

the clamps are to push the piston so the pads fit in.there is a blled screw at the calliper and drums.you need another person to help you out.look at the helms manual and it will tell you the correct procedure on bleeding your brakes.i think its front passenger to driver rear and then passenger rear to front driver.have the person that helps you out to pump your brakes six times and at the sixth one to hold the pedal down to the floor,at this time you loosent the bleeder to release the air.if nop fluid comes out then repeat untilk it shoots pure fluid out.repeat to all sides.before you begin remember to brake the nut free then tighten it back up but not to tight so that you dont have a hard time.
