Transaxle mount

Just wanted to know if the left top transaxle mount is supposed to be at a slight angle?
Another little thing I noticed was that there was a little piece of metal coming off the side of the mount. It has a hole cut into at the the end. There's actually two, one on the top mount and one on the bottom mount. Are these suppose to be touching or seperated?
