OK well i'm really thinking of picking up a mitia but i dug around a bit and still have assloads of questions hope you can help me out.

I would like a 1st gen now then ended in 93 right?

94 + had the 1.8Ls and 90-93 was 1.6L can they be swapped without too much hassle?

Is it true that lowering these cars is a waste and throws off geomeoty or the suspension?

Is there a good way that wont ruin the car to convert to 4x113 or a 5 lug set up?

are they all LSD cars?

how bad are they in rain snow or are they OK for a sane driver?

o boy,

ok,ride height is nearly as low as it gets ,2" max u can lower it.it needs the travel to work right.

1st gen ended in 97'. the 1.6 ended in 93'.same body style though.94's are the only 1.8 without obdll.

forget about 5 lug.

not all are lsd.some are diff types of lsd.you have to do more research on your own.i cant give alll the secrets .then the lsd will go up in price. : )

ahh okie thanks for all your help. I;m looking at one of these for a track racing and summer car maybe DD even depending on how much i love it =)

I dig the pop up lights that was ended 94? also how much HP can the rears hold 250ish i've heard.

See i fell in love after riding in a few 2 weeks ago at a race day they really hauled around the track and i want one now i just want to get a good one for these duties so anymore info about what year trim etc i should look into would be great.

And yes i'm looking around the board finding some other good info

If you are interested I have a miata for sale. It is a 94, the cool thing about the 94 is that it came with extra body braces stock, so it is a more secure ride. Before 94 you will have to add them, after 94 only selected modles came with the braces. I have also done some light modification to the car. I have KYB AGX shock all the way around. They are fuly adjustible. With a turn of a dial you can make them stiffer, or softer. I also have H&R race springs all the away around. They are a progressive spring, and lower the car just a little bit. I have also installed low profile headlights, so they don't pop up as high. For preformance I also have a Jackson Racing cool air induction, which is what everyone gets.
