Well that did amount to an interesting night, basically me and Dave had a warm-up Bourbon and Coke at my place, then walked up to his friends place, where a house-party was going on. That's where all the drinking took place, we almost got through that bottle of bourbon, but slammed on the brakes after countless consumption of it. Then Dave called pickle, his ex in Germany, Oz, tried to call Brian and then his friend in South Africa. Fun.

We went back to my place, made this thread and I split Bourbon and Coke over my floor and LAWS123 course outline, the iPod took the spill nicely, seems to be working fine, thank god.

I'll let Dave tell the rest, because I only came up here to get my iPod and have a shower. Tata!!!

Okay: For anyone who's interested, this is the full story of last night:

I head up to Moss' hostel, dump my sleeping bag, mix myself up a bourbon & coke. We head up to Joe's flat.

Naturally, we take the hilariously overlong scenic route.

Finally make it to the flat, tiny little place. Start drinking. Meet a cute random Bush-hating Texan, a Japanese girl who speaks almost no English from Tokyo (most hilarious conversation ever), a cute little (like 5' or less) girl from Colorado, and some other random Americans. Joe gives me a South African beer, I keep drinking. Somehow end up drinking some absinthe straight.

Cue swearing, cursing, and a rude txt to pickle.

More drinking.

Eventually decide we've had enough, time to hit town. We blunder back to Moss' hostel.

On the way I decide to call pickle. We talk, she calls me a dork.

I call Oz.

I call Suislide - his phone fucks out and reroutes me to a fax machine.

I call my ex girlfriend in Germany while lost in the university grounds (fuck knows how we ended up there, btw, but I nearly died on some stairs).

We somehow make it back to the hostel, have another bourbon and coke, and by some miracle I manage to log in and post this gem. While I'm doing that, Moss knocks over the can of coke onto the floor. I see what's coming, so I pin the b&c to the table with my hand.

In all his glory and wisdom, Moss knocks that over, too. Onto his law notes and iPod.

We decide to hell with this, lets go meet Chris in town.

I call my friend in South Africa, slurr something, start talking, the connection goes all scratchy, and dies.

We blunder down the hill into town (now, might I add, Moss is one LOUD ASS drunk :p)

We go to Indigo, pay 10 bucks which gets us a magazine and a cd. Buy a drink, watch a band for a song or too, then leave to meet chris.

I sit next to a bucket fountain (pics of it in my Wellington city thread) while Moss disappears to BK for a leak. Out of nowhere my friend Dave and his girlfriend turn up. We talk, they disappear to JJ Murphy's. Moss reappears. Chris appears, we head for Matterhorn.

Moss gets denied entry to Matterhorn for being too drunk.

Moss gets denied entry to JJ Murphy's for being too drunk.

We go back to Indigo, and talk to the bouncer there while Moss has a glass of water to sober up.

We head back and find Chris in the back of a Legacy, talk a while, and go. We go to the Grand, go to the top floor, turh around, come back down. No idea why we went there.

Go to a turkish place, get a kebab while being yelled at by some random bitch (I didn't push in, I was here first you psycho little slut!)
Eat on the waterfront, and catch a taxi with a VERY weird taxi driver back to the hostel. Sleep on the floor, wake up in the morning, drink a lake's worth of water, and go down to Mike's flat and drag him out of bed for breakfast Subway.
