You didn't even say what size the new block was in the 66!

Just going on an assumption here that the 66 will win. Only because it has a C4, and usually people who run those tranny's are going to have a nice motor with it. But hey, I could be wrong in this case.

In realality, we need to know more info here.

On the 66 GT he has: new gas tank new lines..performer fuel pump, rebuilt carb. new cooling system..aluminum 2 core radiator, super C4 kit..aligned drive shaft..rebuilt 289 engine. I dont know if that is anymore more info or not. As far as I can tell the only real power mods he has done is the C4 kit and the 2 core radiator.

He rebuilt the 289 for all you know who could have 11:1 CR pistons aluminium heads or heavily worked stock heads with bigger valves, etc, etc..,

I'd find out more on what exactly the 66 has.

Figured out that he rebuilt his engine but did not do any performance modifications to the engine when rebuilding it. He just took new stock parts and rebuilt the engine. This is his list of mods:

GT dual exhaust with repop original GT exhaust manifold..2 1/2 inch pipes with 4 1/2 inch trumpet tips. B&M torque converter rebuilt transmission with 27 miles on new tranny. Aluminum 2 core radiator with 6 blade fan without clutch. rebuilt engine with 2000 miles on new engine. new fuel system new tank new lines hipo fuel pump. ford racing air cleaner.
