Tire Size question

Can I use two 245/40/R17 in the front and 285/40/R17 in the back mounted on 17x8 rims with a 35 offest with out rub or modification?

Also what are the best tires to buy for the supra? Are Goodyear Eagle F1-D3's good. i've always heard the best is to mount yokohama advans in front and toyo proxes in back. Let me know!!!????
