3 inspection ?s

First off, my inspection ran out and I am getting it renewed Sunday.
1) will it cost me more being that it expired already?
2) I suspect the shop people of being bastards and I don't trust them, so I'm recording my mileage before going in and leaving them alone with my baby...is there anything in an inspection that would require them putting any miles on my car other than moving it in and out of the garage?
3) My car is still pretty much stock as of now, but would turning the boost up to 14.5 affect my emissions...also, how would octane booster affect my emissions. I know octane booster only adds 1 octane, so assuming I ran 93+1=94 octane, rather than 91 on emissions...what would be the result. I doubt it matters at this point. But next year I plan on having no precats and a downpipe/high-flow cat. I know the whole 'drive it hard and get it heated up' routine...but I was just wondering about the octane thing.

I can't offer any advice other then to move to Michigan. We don't have any emissions testing here

quick update on the inspection, I took it to a new place, and it was pretty funny, I called at 9am, they told me to come at 10:30. I show up, and get the "sweet ride" comments. The guys are totally chill and we start talking about 3000gts and Supras(2 guys working there had owned them). So the guy pops my car on the lift, looks at the tires and says:
"Well you have tread...do your headlights work?"
Me: "Yeah"
Him: "Cool, well you're all set then"

He rips off the old sticker, puts on the new and charges me $16 bucks. I was in and out in 10 minutes. No emissions...no nothing. So I was happy...and will be returning there in the future.

You lucky In Colorado the emissions stations are run buy the state. they put you on dino. of sorts, visible smoke: fail, no cat or muffler: fail, gas cap holding to much pressure: fail, the usual emissions etc

Yeah, I was under the impression I was subject to an emissions test as well...I kinda got the idea that I didn't recieve the 'typical' inspection.

Yea alot of the guys will not do the sniffer, and if they do, I thing you can get by withought a cat and with all the usual minor bolt ons lol. Its mainly just for old beaters cars and people who don't know their engine is burning massive amounts of oil.
