I am a music major.. so I can't really list all the bands I like because there are too many... But my favorites are Nirvana, Alice in Chains, silverchair, Korn, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Ultraspank, Mudvayne, a lot of early nighties bands and a little bit of metal. But I like all kinds of rock. Country is the worst kind of music ever created (No offense to anyone, just my opinion) and rap sucks too, but N.W.A is the shit

My car is like a rolling church...I got gospel music and christian music playing up in there...even have a few CD's with preachers on there. Nothing like hearing a sermon on my 2 12" subs

Since this thread isn't locked yet I'll add my two cents.
I like techno, downbeat, progressive house and anything that isn't retarded or unintelligent (ie. most rap, r&b, gospel and country). I used to like hardcore and metal and still jam out a little but I'm half deaf now so basically I'll pound some sweet beats until my ears hurt and it feels more satisfying than torturing myself otherwise.
Anyway, seventies theme music (porn-like soundtracks) are awesome... check out these if your curious...
"Shake Savauge"
"Cinemphonic 1" & "Cinemaphonic 2"
"Sound Gallery"
"Ralph Meyerz & the Jack Herren Band" (actually are Norwegian techno djs)

I listen to quite a bit of classic rock like Pink Floyd, Stones, Bowie, Metallica, Lou Reed, Deep Purple, Neil Young, The Clash, etc etc
non rock I like Johnny Cash, Radiohead, all kinds of electronica, dub, drum and bass, undergroundish stuff most people have never heard of...
actually my brother and his musician buddies are starting to make some really trippy electronica so I`ve been getting into that too lately.
