hi i recently bought this amp http://jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=GTO1201.1&ser=GTS&cat=AMP to run with two of these subs http://www.cardomain.com/item/JVCCSWG1200. i think i have everything hooked upo right but when i tune the amp till where it hits it will cut out then come back on quickly and then continue this process. i know the amp isnt sutting out because the light stays on and the protect light never goes on. can someone please advise me what could be the problem. i wired from pos on the sub output to pos. on the amp and neg on the sub output to neg on the amp

Something similar happened to me a couple months back. I have 3 Kicker S12L's and they were hooked up to a Kicker 1200.1 amp. I was driving one day with my subs on(not pounding) and they went out, then about every 5 seconds, they would make a clicking or popping sound, even when i would turn the subs off through the deck. The only way I could listen to the components was to remove the fuse to the subs because if the radio was on, they would pop. Turned out my amp was blown but the one place I took it too wouldn't admit to wiring it wrong as I thought they did, never found out the true reason why the amp blew....Good luck, hope this isn't the case with you.
