Not sure if this will help, as i`ve been looking for a code to unlock my own radio, but from what i`ve read so far most people & sites say that it is the last 4 digits of your radio serial#,so for you that would be 5823. Guess i`ll have to remove my radio to get that info! Hope this works for you & your son.....

Forget paying for it.

Try these 2 numbers. 4853 or 2346

first if you have 8 presets and second one if you dont.

I am assuming that the numbers you gave me were the little white sticker on the right hand side on the top of the radio. I need the last 2 numbers.

my last question is that my radio doesn't actually say code, but says cod is that still indicative of the code error?

hi, also have radio code problems with my 2000 Daewoo Nubira Station Wagon (U.S. market). I have tried the last four digits, didn't work. There are 6 programming buttons and below all the numbers that can be found on the radio. Can anybody indicate me what the code is? Thanks in advance!

had same prob with my radio on daewoo.pulled radio/4 digit code was on sticker on top of tape deck.

I have a Legacy radio/CD player I am trying to install and it has a yellow wire with a 7A fuse that says it goes to Memory B+
I have no idea what its for.

Hello Martin3006.I am glad it worked.I knew it would.I had the same problem at the begining of March.I called friendly kia.They said because daewoo no longer exist they don't have the codes anymore.Well I tried everything.I thought they must still have an offical web sight or something.Daewoous.com(daewoomotoramerica)I emailed them my situation and serial #.A few hours latter they sent me a code for free.Tried it and it worked.I'm glad it worked for you too.

You have to pull out the radio.On the top right side on a white sticker there should be a 10 digit #.Get that number and I should be able to get you the code.

I can no longer give out codes.The Daewoo website I was getting them from said I have asked them for too many.This is their email address (customerservice@daewoous.com) Make sure you put the code somewhere safe.They won't give it a second time.

I would love to keep helping everyone,but daewoo motor american has reconized my email to many time and will no longer give me codes.You have to go to the web site youself which I have given step by step instructions in previous replys.They will give you the code if you give them your serial #.

Try using these codes. These radios are lucky if nothing else to ever find another home. The codes should have been given to you at the time of purchase. Here are a few from another form the 1165 worked for me.

My problem is not getting the code - I have my code, but when I try to enter it, nothing happens. The display says COD ----, I enter my code and the display just goes back to COD ----. Any ideas? I have used the code before and it worked. (Funny thing is, it's asking for the code, even though the radio has not been disconnected nor has the battery died, so I don't even know why it's asking.)
