problem solved

Even after replacing the calipers, the truck still was bumpy when it was braking. The clunking sound was gone though. I broke down and got brand new rotors. Truck works great now. If your thinking of getting your rotors turned, save yourself the time and just get new rotors. Chevy stock rotors are awful.

Seems like a simillar issue than with the 98+ F-bodies....glad its taken care of!!
