My air bag light will not go off, theres nothin wrong with the air bag itself is there anything that i can do to turn it off?

What year is the car? My 04 that I had wouldn't go off, and GM ended up buying the car back and replacing the entire wire harness of the car. Course I got a brand new Orange 04 in its place.
