Nice advise, someone buys a car and you recommend they sell it and get a different one, lol.
Read the FAQ and you'll find several different websites on how to modify.

LMAO... dude... you can still run 11's in a GST...
ahhh what to do with $$...
Boost Gauge and something else [A/F is cheap, but useless]
dual A pillar from www.gaugepods.com (http://www.gaugepods.com)
K&N FIPK
Dejon Tools intake pipe [or a very cheap POSr home depot one]
intercooler pipe kit [full] Dejon Tools or GReddy are good
BOV - GReddy type-s, HKS SSQV, 1g stock BOV [dejon tools UICP can be flanged to any BOV, GReddy is flanged for, you guessed it, the Type-S]
NGK BPR7ES spark plugs [i'm using Iridium and so are a couple of other guy's but these are said to be the best, and i had these before with no complaints, just change them every 10k or so. the stock wires are the best in the world, don't change them unless you have to get new stock wires]
Boost Controller - manual is the cheapest, www.boostcontroller.com (http://www.boostcontroller.com) or a nicer electronic one, GReddy Profec B spec-2, apexi AVCR [i think that is the accronym], and HKS makes one too. GReddy one is fairly small and really simple to use.
Fuel Pump - you need this if you are going to up the boost with the controller... [Walbro] 190 is all you need, but if you got your eye on a super star engine get a 255 [which may cause you to run a bit rich at mid-throttle without a Fuel Pressure Regulator]
Down Pipe - www.roadraceengineering.com (http://www.roadraceengineering.com) has the best one out there. depending on your state laws and your willingness to comply, get a cat eliminator DP. the best exhaust for a turbo is no exhaust at all.]
exhaust - 3'' full cat back exhaust. you can go to an exhaust shop and get custom pipes bent and a cheap straight thru muffler for very cheap. or you can spend a couple more duckets and get a GReddy EVo or an Apexi N1 style one.
springs - Eibach Pro's are fairly nice for a really good ride ans a nice drop. H&R's look the best IMHO because they drop the front a bit more than the rear because the front well is a bit larger. drop it more than about 1.5'' and you will need to get a camber kit.
struts - Tokico Illumina will do you the best. they got 5 way dampening
strut towers - this is more of an after thought, but if you got extra dough... front and back won't hurt...
that should keep you busy for a while. and after doing all this you should have all the knowledge you will need...

buy a 1g engine. you'll have a 14b on it and you wont have to worry about crankwalk.

2500, damn. thats enough to put you deep into the 12's, if not 11's.

nah, i don't think 2500 would put him in the 11's. maybe high 12's. you have to think, he still has to do all the small stuff like exhaust, d/p, injectors, fuel controller and then after he gets all the good stuff like a turbo he has to tune it.

if you buy used. its possable.

not in a GS-T, in a GSX yes. not trying to be a dick, but I may be wrong but there's still a lot of stuff that has to be bought and a turbo big enough to put him in the 11's is still going to be kind of costly.

yep. costly, still possable
