My first street kill

yesterday i went and bought a mustang i was looking at. 89 hatchback lx, automatic. tonight, i was taking it for a cruise, doing burnouts and donuts in parking lots, and having a blast. then i went for a drive down a main road and pulled up to a stoplight. some stock car pulled up to me, probably some turbo saab. i looked and it was a middleage guy with his wife. so the light turns green and i take off easy, not thinking he wanted to race. he pulls on me a little and i hear the turbo, so i give the stang aboug half throttle and put a car on him. we drive side by side till the next stoplight and we wait for it to turn green. it does, i let him have a car and floor it. by the end of first gear i have half a car, and i lifted at 60. felt great, i didn't think my stock stang with no mufflers would beat a little turbo coupe. anyway about a mile down the road he turns off and flashes his lights at me. very cool guy. a great end to a fun little cruise in my new toy. can't wait to get real exhaust on her!

first time i took out my talon to go play, i got ganged up on by mustang cruise. they all took their turns racing me and then told me to pull off at the next station. those guys gave me a good newbie welcome to the race car world and talked good things about my car spanking some of em and vice versa

first time i got my racing cherry popped was wiht a trans am. day after i bought my car i was feelin pretttttty good thinkin i had a quick car until myone of my neighbors caught me at a light. with his 98 T/A(fully built internals) he showed me exactly where my car stands in the raceworld :grinyes:

Saab...ugliest car on the face of the planet.

I don't know about being ugly, and they'requite luxurious inside. I'm not a fan of them myself, but they do look sharp when you get the right ones.
