i have a 91 LS Teg, was wondering the diff. between a h22 head over a b16 head, because i want to frankenstein my LS, jus wanted your Xpert opinions... Thx guys!

h22 head won't fit. Go B16.

I seriously doubt u can put the H22 head on a B series block. if your going LS/Vtec, then go with a b16 head or a type R head. both flow really well and about the same. the b16 is easier to find and much cheaper than a type r head

You can also go gs-r head, but it's not worth the price over the b16. You cannot put parts from one engine family (H) onto another (B). Stick with the b16.

H22 won't do it....Stick with B16....You can try but I doubt it....

If its the original engine I'd imagine it's accumulated a lot of miles in 13 years. If thats the case maybe you should get a whole new engine. No sense in going through all that work just to have the engine give out from pushing it, which I imagine you'll be doing a decent amount of with a head swap.:2cents:
