woah badass ff drifts! i'd be shocked if these are automatic transmissions lol, i think theyr definately stickshifts, but hell yeah thats awsome lol, i dont wanna drift at those speeds though lol, but still.. awsome

populat trends - inertia drift, drifts on straightaways, emergency signals, spin your car at the end

but hey some of this stuff you cant do in a rwd

if you call that drifting, then the meaning of the word "drift" has become smudged enough to be unrecognizable.

Hey! Not drifting but that stuff is insane. More please!

well some of them are drifts, but mainly, i'd say suislide is right, drifting on a straight road isnt really drifting.

Suislide

i didn't mean it that way. you CAN drift on a straight road (manji), but the shit they do...just slinging it sideways, spinning and hoping for the best...not really drifting. there's no skill involved. i could take an automatic FWD family sedan, go 90km'h down a straight road, yank the e-brake, and just hold on for dear life. that's basically what they're doing.

also if you've seen other videos like this, they have no consideration for human life, as the cars (brand new Accords and Camry's, i might add) sometimes go slinging into groups of people or into parked civilian cars.

well from the first look at the video, my first impression was that they are probably damaging those vehicles, the vehicle set up (suspension, transmission, drivetrain) was not meant for that kind of stress and load

those are ff's. its not drifting, but the driving is still cool more vids plz!

as the cars (brand new Accords and Camry's, i might add)

Hey, that's probably the best use for those things. I haven't seen any Altimas in those videos. Maybe they realize the Nissan is actually sporty, and doesn't deserve to be trashed.

hey man my mom has a 2k4 Accord V6 (240hp), and it's FAST. at first when she told me she was buying it instead of the Altima, i was angry, but as soon as i drove it, my opinion changed. it's a really quick car, handles well, etc.

the Camry on the other hand... :grinno:

Hey where the heck are our new clips of these crazy people? It's popular demand now supply! Yeah I think the first one was a Hyundai but I could be mistaken. Second one is hard to tell.

Initial_D

the 1st & 2ed were Hyundai sonata and the 3ed clip mazda6

Suislide ... these people are from Saudi aribia which is next to my country. I went there many times just to see there driving skills :uhoh: man they are not doing it at 90km'h as you think they are doing it at 170 to 200 km/h which is not easy to keep the car on the straight road with that speed while spinning like hell ... many people died in accidents cuz they don't have enough skill and it's popular like drifting in japan and we call it in arabic (( HAJOLLA ))

hmm well while everyone is on the subject. What would you all recomend as a good Dvd to buy in the stores on drifting?

Suislide
10-01-2004, 02:35 AM
that's not on the subject at all! and this is an old, dead post.

make a new thread about it.
