Integra vs Prelude (future buyer)

Ive always liked the 94-96 Preludes the Si since i have to get an auto either way. The interior and the dash is one of the nicest ive seen. But my friend told me an integra would be my better choice because of the high compression ratio or whatever? What exactly does that mean, and does it still apply to an auto integra? I want either a 95-98 integra (gs, rs, ls..i duno the diff). Do all integras come with v-tech? Which is the faster car? Prelude at 160hp or integra at 140hp, which handles the curves better, which is funner to drive, which is more reliable? Which has the most trunk space? Any help would be great, im leaning toward the integra lately :p

first learn to spell "V-TEC" correctly :slap:
second not all integras come with the VTEC engine
if you want any Teg with VTEC then ur gonna have to go with a MT, since the GS-R and ITR both come 5-spd only
you can get an AT prelude VTEC but in the 5th gen Sport shift spec only 97-01
if you gonna stay with auto then get an integra, it's quite a bit lighter than the lude and handles a little better than the Si
IMO get a GS-R and learn how to drive stick

^^^^^ B/S....."Pikkagtr" sorry to say it but ur WRONG!!....if u want a Auto...a Lude is probally the best fit from Civic's, Integra and Prelude...Auto Prelude don't suffer much loose gain from Manuel to Auto..like most car's also the Lude drivers and handles as good or better then any Integra or civic..with a lot more Power coming from a Auto Si Lude then any Auto RS LS or GS TEG...

I'd have to go with the Prelude also, in this case.
If you drove stick it would open up a world of options...

would insurence be cheaper on a prelude or an integra? I got a feeling its cheaper on a lude since theres not as many on the road fixed up, it doesnt really have the bad rep of tennage street racing integras do?

actually...a Lude would cost u a bit more...since it's listed as a Sports car and Teg isn't...but both car's R pricey in the Insurence cost...

Guy's ONE more thing...please let's RESPECT "Pimped Out 4 LYF " opion on going with an Auto and NOT A STICK....so let's give him the best 411 on the question he asked and not give him suggestions since he may have his reason's for not getting a Stick...I know some parents who won't let there kid's but a Stick shift...damn THEM!!! LoL...also sometimes I wish my Car was AUTO (SOMETIMES) :)

this was my personal opinion based on experience, it cannot be wrong
i respect that you have a different opinion than mine but i dont say that u r wrong
IMO an integra ls/gs is a better buy since it is quite a bit lighter than the lude
i have owned 3 preludes, a 1992 S MT , a 95 Si AT, and a 5th gen SS, so im not making abiased opinion
i recently sold my SS 5th gen because it lost too much hp due to the automatic tranny
teg= 140 hp
lude si= 160
i wouldn't say 20 hp difference in 2 AT cars is "a lot" more power
stock for stock if you simply mash the pedal they would probably be very much the same in acceleration

dude...20 more HP isn't the only different on the Acc. ....try more like 30-40 MORE "TORQUE" which all Auto Teg lack off..."Low-End Torque" to really move quick during normal speeds.....TRUST ME 3rd Gen Auto Si's Lude's r much faster then any yes any Auto TEG....then again that's my Opion but stat's don't LIE and I also been on all Teg's and on 2nd 3rd and 4th Gen Lude's (still hoping for that 5th Gen Ride which with Auto VTEC should be something to look forward too on an Auto car of course)
