Well here it is, for those who wanted to see it. I took a couple day break off, but this one only took me around 10 or so hours to complete. Its completely drawn freehand. Hope you like it.

Damn!!!!! Outstanding job on that. I couldn't do something like that even if I worked on it for years.

:shakehead I don't know, I just don't know. Thought hard and long about making this post and hate to be the skeptical one. I pulled the sketch, along with a photo that everyone has seen of the of the head on shot (doors open) of the LM wearing the tag F1 MCL into PhotoSuite and studied hard and long. If it's a freehand sketch it is an extremely good one, but it looks traced to me. Oh there are a few differences, but the shadows on the sketch are too similar to the photo. If it is a freehand sketch then my apology goes out to Sccrplyr06 and I deserve a BIG :nutkick: and compliment you on a job well done. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: I just don't know

Thanks for all the compliments first of all.
Mpowered- That was the picture that I used as a reference but I decided to take off the plate in the front. I did freehand draw the car and it is on 100lb paper. It was actually pretty easy to sketch because I usually draw at a 3/4 view. It was easy to get it so close to the real thing if you have a trained eye and also because I have stared at it for hours and have basically memorized the picture (I did forget the McLaren symbol on the front though).
Here is a progress pic:
http://img31.exs.cx/img31/7532/lmdrawing003.jpg
I changed the left headlight before I shaded. Also the right side of the body of the car is approximately 1-2mm shorter than the left in real life.
Hopefully this shows that I have actually drawn this freehand. Don't hate to be the skeptical one Mpowered, in the sketching and drawing section of the forums people always are skeptical, I have even asked if they have traced it before. I have been tempted in times past to use the grid method because it is a time saver but never have. Also, I don't know how to trace a car when you are drawing it on a piece of paper that you can't see through.
I know this is pretty long, didn't mean it too, but hopefully it solves some questions.

It is truly an extremely nice job. There was a sketch by Ross Allen that was just too perfect to be true. I noticed that there were differences in your sketch and the photo. The band at the top of the windscreen is broader and the McLaren is much more readable. I also noticed that the doors were not as prefect as the photo which led me to believe that it was freehand. I have a couple of friends that have a lot of artistic talents and they amaze me constantly with their abilities. Thanks for posting the sketch and being so gracious about my criticism.
I'll say :bigthumb: nice job and keep up the good work.

Yeah I know the photo. It would be a huge project and would take a long time to complete. However I think I might give it a try. I leave for college in 2 and a half weeks. Which means that I wouldn't be able to complete it before I go and I don't know if I would have the time to do it at college. So you would most likely have to wait till around December- January. I don't know what I would charge for it, I never have sold one of my drawings. What would you be willing to pay?
