i am seriously thinking about getting a cast iron exhuast cut-out. i wanna get rid of my current setup (gutted cat with resonator and a gay ractive coffee can welded with 2.25 piping after the mid section with stock piping) and go to a junkyard and find a 90-91 civic with stock piping. anyways i was thinking bout doing this and having a 2.50 2ft pipe after the cutout along the passanger side for more flow. i found a cutout for $40, so the whole deal would probably cost like 80 after welding and stuff. what are you guys thoughts about this?
p.s i have a d16y7 with DPFI(for now) header, intake and of course the ghetto exhuast(previous owner)

WTF is wrong with a dump pipe? Much easier than unbolting your cat when you go to the track. Don't listen to Santa, he drives a ford...

sounds like fun, you should put it on your downpipe and run it out the side right behind the passenger tire ;)
that'd be loud!
