No power to fuel pump

Can someone please help me. I have a 97 jeep cherokee country 4.0.
The engine cranks but will not start. When I turned key to the on position I did not hear the fuel pump kick on, also I was not getting fuel up to the fuel bar. I replaced the fuel pump and still the same problem. Not one of my guages moves when I turn the car to the on position. Not even the battery. All relay's have been checked and all fuses have been checked. Can it be the computer? I am getting spark. If I use starter fluid it will turnover. I ran wire back to the fuel pump and it turned on, but the car still did not start. I have no more Ideas.

HI, THERE IS A POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ,RIGHT BEHIND THE BATTERY. REMOVE LID TURN THE LID OVER YOU WILL SEE THE RELAYS AND FUSES IT TELL WHAT RELAY IS FOR AND WHAT THE FUSES ARE FOR . FIND THE ONE FOR THE FUEL PUMP REMOVE IT AND SWITCH IT WITH ONE OF THE OTHERS,THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. TURN KEY SEE IF YOU HEAR IT CLICK,IT ONLY CLICKS ONCE TO PRIME FUEL SYSTEM QUESTIONS GIVE A HOLLLER DALE jeepman600 @aol.com :smokin:

I checked the Relay's and they are all good. I do not here it click when I turn the key to the on position. Is it a ignition switch? Someone please Help?

Does your Cherokee have a white resistor onthe drivers side wheelwell? If it does run a jumper wire across the two terminals then try to start.Or hold your throtle wide open and see if it starts. If it does it is the resistor called fuel pump resistor. Had this problem with mine.

HI, WHEN YOU RAN THE WIRE BACK TO THE FUEL PUMP DID IT PUMP FUEL UP TO THE FUEL RAIL. THERE IS NO RESISTOR ON THE 97 JUST EARLIER MODELS DID YOU USE A JUMPER WIRE TO JUMP RELAY TERMINALS IF SO DID THE PUMP RUN DID YOU CHECK THE POWER LINE BACK AT THE TANK CONNNECTION, COU.LD HAVE BAD CONNECTOR

HI, THERE ARE 3 ROWS OF MINI FUSES --BETWEEN THE RELAYS & THE MAXI FUSES. THE BLUE 15 AMP IN # 19 CAVITY -IF YOU REMOVE THIS FUSE OR THIS FUSE IS BLOWN,-YOU HAVE NO POWER TO GAUGES & FUEL PUMP DOES NOT CLICK. 9--13--17

Thanks for all your help guys. My problem was a shorted crankshaft position sensor.
