Anyone know of a good auto repair shop in the Syracuse area?
I'd like to avoid the dealers if possible.
I have a 2001 LeSabre and a 1995 Subaru Legacy.

What kind of repair job is it? If it's simple you can do it yourself.

Not the one on Rt.57 in Clay. They overcharge for a lot of repairs. They charged my mother-in-law $32 to re-install her rearview mirror in her '93 Explorer,( I felt they took advantage of her because she is elderly and handicapped.) After I found that out I call around for repair estimates, and usually call Pep Boys to get their quote. 9 times out of 10 they are near or at the top of the list in price.

Yeah that Pep Boys is horrible. I know a guy who works there, I hear all kinds of stories about them breaking things on cars. But $32 to put on a rear view mirror is a joke. I can't believe they are still open with the quality of service they have and their prices. There's one on either rt 31 or rt 11 (think it's rt 11) that is pretty good.
