Thanks to everyone in advance.
My dad has a 99 Intrepid thats in a need of a tune up. I was just curious how hard it would be to change the plugs. He has a V-6 (not sure what liter though) What tools are also needed.

Shocking as it sounds, replacing spark plugs on any intrepid, whether it is the 2.7 or 3.2/3.5, all you have to do is take the ignition coils on top of each spark plug. Get a long extension, 3/8 drive ratchet and a 5/8 spark plug socket. Make sure that before you put the new spark plugs in the car, coat the threads of the plug with anti-seize compound. If you, next time you take out the spark plugs, especially with aluminum cylinder heads, you WILL put out the threads of the cylinder head and you'll have to re-tap the threads in the head. Just a little heads up so that you don't create extra work for you.
