Brembo (http://www.brembo.com/) has nice braking systems.

Aem/Nissin pads are nice.

EBC pads are also very good

EBC makes really good pads to fit stock brakes, its just a matter of finding a store that sells 'em (not hard)

One of the best high performance brake pads available is Hawk HP Plus.

I've seen a lot of angry reviews complaining about EBC Green Stuff and AEM pads. But I never saw any complain about Hawk HP Plus.

I have them my own and I can testify - THEY ARE GREAT. Lots of braking power.

It's like night and day when compared to stock pads.

How are the Axxis "Metal Master" brake pads, compared to say Nissin, and EBC pads?

Heard generally good things about stopping power - particularly when warmed - but tend to be a bit noisier and a little harsher on the rotors. Still a decent choice though.
