front brake hanging up

After replacing my front pads and rotors the right side is hanging up slightly, enough to get quite hot after a 30 minute highway cruise. Is there something I might have missed or does it sound like it's time for a new caliper?

your car isnt that old so it shouldnt be your caliper but could be possible. take you caliper back off and see if you got your brake pad in right. make sure you seat the brakes after you put it back together. oh and make sure you blead your brakes.

What do you mean by hanging up? Brakes are going to get hot after 30 minutes of interstate. Are they hanging up bad enough to where when you let out of the gas its like you just slammed the brakes on? Are you fighting your brakes to go down the road? Did you reassemble everything correctly?

Did you use dielectric grease on the caliper slides/mounting area. Its also a good thing to put a small amount in the caliper bolt holes. You may also wanna take the pads to a wire wheel and clean em up around the notches where they mount in the caliper.

Also check to make sure the brake lines did not get twisted when the caliper was off causing a pinch in the line.
