car kinda runs

just bought a 89 240sx se and when i crank it i have to stay on gas pedal for a lil while for it to idle then when i drop it into drive it bogs out.... i dont knwo what it could be! any help would be great. any ideas?

got it to idle it just idels irraticaly sometime it wont go part 2500rpm. also i have a vacuum hose i dont know where goes its on the top of smog can. and has yellow line on it i have single over head cam and cant see where it goes. any ideas

when I bought mine, it was doing something similar to that. The place I bought it from pressure washed the engine and got water in the cylinders which fried the spark plugs. The converter was clogged also. After I fixed both of those things, the car ran fine.
