Poker!

Anyone else caught up in the poker craze? I've been interested in poker ever since I saw that movie "Rounders"a couple of years ago. I had played a couple of times and never really saw the skill it took to play. Once poker hit big and started showing on every channel, I played alot more and finally understood how much skill it took to play (luck doesnt hurt either). No Limit Hold Em, is my favorite game. I've won some money playing online but nothing to get too excited about. I don't mind playing all those other crazy poker games, but those are just fun games to play penny poker with to me. My friends got a weekly game going on now. Last time I lost a $30 all in hand. My A 8 against his 5 5. I got my 8 but after he already picked up another 5 :banghead: Oh well, hope things go better tonight!

Today I'm going to a friend's house with a bunch of guys and we play Hold 'Em for a few hours. 5$ buy in, nothin fancy. Loads of fun though. :grinno:

We play $10, I don't like $5 because its too hard to bluff somebody cuzz ur only raising a dollar or two and anybody will call that, but $10 seems like a lot more money to lose so people are more careful. People usually get knocked out so they buy back in and we can have pots of $100+ sometimes. That makes it exciting and very stressfull hehe.

I played strip poker once with some girls and I'm good at dealing from the bottom of the deck :naughty: :evillol:

Theres about 6 or 7 of my friends that love to play no limit hold em just about every other day. We do a $5 buy in and play with $10 worth of chips. Makes it easier on the budget, and easier on the betting.

last time i played it was $5 buy in and i ended up winning $16...not bad for one night

I think the game was probably rigged...

Woo hoo walked home with $35 after my $10 buy in. Was down to like under 5 cuzz of some rotten luck with these noobs. This guy did it to me twice. I flopped high pair and knew he was holding onto an ace so i bet a decent amount on the turn and river and he barely called thinkin his ace high would win, but when he turned over his cards and showed his ace he says "ahh u got me" and i was pullin in the chips then the guys at the table were like "dude he had the straight on the flop" and the guy had no clue so he wins the pot :banghead: then he does it again when i get two pair and he had an ace again with no ace on the board but kept callin and sure enough he says he lost and i pull in the chips and then we look at his other card and it gave him a set on the turn and he had no idea :banghead: It's hard to get a read on a guy who doesnt know wat he gots :banghead: but the best hand of all nite and prob the worse call ever made in the history of poker..I was bettin big cuzz i had top pair and then get a straight the guy starts off the last round raising like $5 so I go all in with like $9 on top of that and he calls I had a king high straight and he had a 3 5 clubs with no clubs or a 3 or 5 on the board!!!! The he says he was trying to bluff me!! How can you bluff me when I go all in and you call!! Then he says he thought I had nothing..well I sure as hell had higher than a 5!! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: hahaha we're going to invite him back to all our games from now on :iceslolan
