Hi .. can anyone tell me what the best oil to use in my DC2 is? I am using 5w30 esso Ultron but my car is still burning quite a bit of oil (probably 1L for 650m) ... can anyone suggest a slightly thicker alternative.
Thanks.
Thanks.

5w-30 is the more fuel economic oil. 10w-30 is pretty good oil to use, if you want 20w-50 is a more performance oil but, it is alot thinner when it is hot. it all depends on your location. but 10w-30 is probably the best. i'm not sure if you have the mobil 1 synthetic there or not, but that is your best choice other than Ams Oil, Ams is the best to use but very expensive. go with the Mobil 1 Full synthetic 10w-30

i use mobile 1 full synthetic oil on my gsr..it' works pretty good..but i use 5-30....i heard redline and ryole purple produces a couple h.p. but they're expensive stuuf for one quart.....make sure you get the stock oil filter because it works best than 3 dolars oil filter and don't forget to get new washers for the drain bolt because if you don't than oil can leak out...

do integra have washers/gaskets that goes onto the oil drain bolt??? cuz mine dont. it's just a bolt with no washers at all? i remember when i use to change the oil on my dads lex, there was a washer that goes on the oil drain bolt.
but no oil leaks so i shouldnt worry bout it

there should be. and trust me on this, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE DRAIN BOLT. the only time that i took my car to super rip off i mean super lube, they stripped my drain plug, i did not realize it until i got home and my dad told me my car was leaking oil on the driveway, took it back to super lube and they told me that b/c i signed the form at the begining it did not make them respnsible for the bolt b/c i left the property without informing them. AS&*%*$S. so i had to install a new oil pan. but yea there should be a washer there.

Royal purple 10W30 is the best all-around oil. It's what I use in my 250WHP daytona, and what I used to use in my 225 WHP turbo LS teg before I sold it.
