DVD mounting ? for the focus

Yesterday I had the Kenwood in-dash DVD player put in (Double-DIN)..my problem is the curve of the focus' dash around the stereo..the frame on the unit hangs off about 1/4 in. on both the top and bottom and looks ugly. Anyone have any idea what to put around it so that it looks clean? I put some dynamat around it for now but I can't get it smooth and it looks like a crappy caulking job. Please help!!

The only thing i could recommend is taking it to a metal shop and seeing if they can just fabricate a stainless steel centre console fram for the whole thing.

There's nothing else other than layers of caulking and smoothing it with sandpaper that would work....not off the top of my head.
