Okay I am in talks with a car dealer or some crap in SOUTH AFRICA that is going to pay for my gutted CRX to be shipped there. I dont know if I should do it.
I am gonna get a cashiers check for the amount I want plus shipping cost and the guys fee to his client to make the transaction. I made it clear that the car was in less than perfect condition. I am about to put a sold as is thing on the auction to make it clear and to save my ass from getting sued. the link to the auction is in classified ads.

Just wait, you'll find a legitimate buyer in the US down the road

its a scam. the money order they send you will end up being fake. just wait for a normal buyer.

DONT DO IT! It is definately a scam. Dateline did a little piece on this a few months back. A "buyer" from annother country contacts you and proposes to buy your car and pay for shipping fees by using a "certified cashiers check". You get the check and cash it, and send the vehicle to its new owner.... problem is: Its phony. You end up being the target of a shrewd con-man.

i dont get it if they send u the CCC and u cash it wouldnt u know right when u cash it if its fake
hold onto the car til u confirm the CCC is authentic, if they say no u will just take the money and run say that ebay protects all its deals and will sue your ass if u try to run with the money. Should be enough security for them to have a multi million dollar corp on their side. If they wont go for its def a scam

if you do it insist on a wire transfer, not paypal (stolen cc), not cashiers checks (fakes), not money order (fakes). a wire transfer for the full amount plus a 100$ handeling fee for the exporting trouble. if the guy is legitimate he will pay how you like and the ammount you want.
