Hey I own a 2000 pontiac sunfire 2.2L, when its in park, drive(1,2,D), and reverse and idling the engine shakes. I dunno its hard to explain, almost feels like the engine is rocking off balance or somehting. I dunno anyone have an opinion?

it could be just running extremely rough due to something like a vaccum line off or torn or it could be misfiring on a cylinder or more. id say get a diagnostic on it as quick as possible.

thats the thing, i went to the Pontiac dealer like a week or two ago to have some recalls done on it(the problem waas kinda noticed before) and i had them do the check list on my vehicle, and nothing came up accept getting my tranny flushed at 50k miles

around 750 id say, you can see the needle moce slightly every now and then. Im also wondering why my fuel economy isn't that great either, stock it should get 300Miles to the tank, but i get less or equal to that and i have replaced spark plugs(+4 platinum) new spark plug wires and exhaust(intake will be installed when i get that part they forgot to send me).

well all 2.2's run rough to begin with, but for future refference, chev engines run best with ac delco plugs, not that bosch isnt a good plug, they're just designed more for imports, but unless the engine is running rough enough to shake then entire car i woudnt worry much about it, every sunfire/cav i've ever driven has idled rough

well when you are sitting at a stop light you can kinda feel the car shake a lil, but its not to bad
