um... if u want them to fit flush... the easiest thing to do is to buy the same size speakers as the stock ones. you can still get ones that sound pretty nice, whatever the size. its either that or you'll have to cut out the space to fit, cut out some holes elsewhere, or buy some boxes and throw those somewhere.

Take a piece of MDF and cut it so that your new speakers fit, then screw that piece to the door.

i'm guessing your 6x9's are the ones that don't fit. i had the same problem. i simply cut the sheet metal off the back deck till they fit flush. it was quick simple and worked well.

yah that would work i guess but the one problem is that metal the speak
ers sit in is realy hard to cut how did you do it there not much room, but i just put in 6 1/2 sony explod speakers in the doors and the rear seat. I need to know they have 220 watt max and 55 watt rms my deck cant power them fully for real loudness could i just hook up a amp and run it like that and if i ever wanted to put subs in i would just add another amp.

I personally haven't done it yet, and if i can't figure out a way to do it i guess i'll have to pay to have it done .

i used a pair of tinsnips. it was pretty easy with them. took no time at all. you could amp the speakers, but it's not necessary. obviously it would sound better, but i think you'll be happy with how they sound without an amp. i have two amps runnin two twelves. i had my speakers amped too, but ended up takin it out. wasn't worth it for me.

I plan on getting just a 100-200watt amp for my highs and when i get subs i'll get a bigger amp for those. I want two kicker solobaric 12" subs and a 1000-1200watt amp for those. Depends on my budget. I'm putting power windows/locks and an alarm on my car before i do that though.
BTW anyone know where i can get the boards to make my 4x6 fit right? They didn't fit and rattle the way i have them installed. It is only a temp install until i get the boards that they sit in.

Yah i want to do the same thing your doing iwith your speakers and using that board, alos i have 4 6 1/2 sony xplod speakers 220 watt max and 55 rms do you think it would be a good idead to use a xplod amp with 600, or 1200 watt max. And what could i do without usinfg a amp my speakers distoriate when i get to volume 14 and they dont sound loud then.Im not putting in any subs right now casue im going to school and dont have the cash but just want a good speakers setup. so let me know if ya got any ideas/
