LS-1 1/4 mile time Auto VS. 6 Speed...???

I am looking for the 1/4 mile time for a stock automatic 1999 Z28. I can only seem to find 6 speed times. The 6 speed is listed as 13.7 or 13.8. Is there a difference in times or does anyone know a good page to find this info.

Theyrun almost exact times stock for stock.

Depends on the driver. They both have the potential to run close to even times but, the Automatic will be more consitant than the stick

94camaroz, I have a 99 Z28. I't mostly still stock, but when it was stock and had 27000 miles on it, I ran it one night on the 1/4 mile track. My times were 13.8X @ 102 mph. I haven't been back to the 1/4 mile since then but i race somewhat regularly in the 1/8. I usually run 8.8X@81-82mph. All at basically sea level, 80-95 degs, 70-90% humidity. The only things that weren't stock then were the tires, ( dunlop sp5000 255/50/16 and a flowmaster 40 series muffler. This is a fully loaded t-top, leather, monsoon car which weighs 3660lbs with a full tank of fuel and me in it. Hope this helps!
I'm going to the 1/8 mile track fri night. Hope to have some slightly better times as I have changed tires, lightened it and opened up the air intake. I'll post results this weekend.
