Why do so many girls like the eclipse?

I prefer my 3000GT but alot of girls think the Eclipse is top of the line in terms of looks..... why is this?

Very true! In my area about 75% of the DSMs are driven by girls, most people around me think it's a girly car just because of how it looks.

I love ppl who take the DSM's as girly cars...send them over here and I'll show them what a girly car can do!!!

alot of women around dallas/fort worth drive DSMs also. whenever people say i drive a chick car, i laugh and ask them to run me.. because of my crazy smile, they usually chicken out :smokin:

Now I guess if I were a democrat, I would call that statement sexist and homophobic :lol: All I have to say to those people who were offended by Schwarzenegger's comment is...give me a f***ing break! It seems like democrats are more willing to put all their efforts into trying to discredit republicans, instead of ignoring stupid comments like this and focusing on real issues. Anyways, yeah I have noticed that alot of girls really do like the way the eclipse looks (unfortunately I'm married, so no dice for me), but I see mostly guys driving them around my area. The only car I would call a girly car, with conviction, would be the new VW Beetles.

Personally I like the looks of the 3000-GT better than my eclipse. But for practicality sake and issuance payments, I took the eclipse.

The difference in opinion is simple, the Eclipse 2g has a more appealing look in terms of the eye, each curve is carefully placed and especially how it stands on 17's and 18s makes it look like it would own the road, but with style
the 3000GT is more of an exoticly designed car with the vents in front of the rear wheels and the agressive spoiler on the VR4 in 99, it is merely a matter of opinion :D

almost no girls around here drive dsms. see alot of chicks drivin 3gs though. Mostly they stick to the cavaliers and sunfires. Which in my mind are chicks cars

i only see one chick in a dsm. Everybody else who drives them are like in there late teens. i'm 17. it is really hot lookin. they look like they cost a whole lot more than they really cost. its kind of funny how chicks look at it at my school. they think its really hot.

2G eclipses are the sexiest things on the road (when I'm not on the road, though).

If I am not mistaken, it is because uncommonly good looking and physically developed [:naughty:] men typically drive DSMs, and said lads also happen to be charming and intelligent.

To answer the original topic, the reason why I think women are attracted to DSM's are because of the curby and good looking cars. I mean they kind of represent the body of a woman :dunno:

Eclipses look pretty good, especially 97-99's, I think. I think girls fall for a good looking sport compact, rather than a full sports car. They can't appreciate being cramped, rough ride, whatever. Personally I like the newer 3000GT's, especially because of the headlight change and the rear wing on the latest ones.

I see a lot of young guys and girls driving the n/t DSMs, where only a select number of 18-25 year olds have turbo DSMs, thats EXCLUDING the 20-35 year old guys that drive the fastest DSMs, because they bought them almost new and havent got out of it :) I see old women driving 3000GT's, mostly base models though. Only a few VR4's in town.

I would have to say one of the sexiest under 30 grand
I would have to say the newest mr2 and rx7 are right up there.
If your going to include cars like the viper, gt40 porsche gt and lotus elise, the eclipse starts looking like a pinto.

Yea it always depends on who you ask. you wont get the same response from a 18 year old then get a 50 year old lady's opinion.
