#1 cylinder has no compression PLEASE HELP!

Ok this is what happened....of course i was racing and i was going to shift into third and the spring in my clutch shot out and got lodged between the pressure plate and disk. Well when that happend my rpms went through the roof and it happend in a split second. Well ill skip all the other stuff that happend cuz its not important but basically my car was idling terribly. So i did a compression test and there is absolutly no compression comin out of cylinder 1. I thought it might be a valve because i have a 99 gsr and gsr valves are really weak. I asked my friend and he said he doesnt think so because my car didnt smoke at all while it was running but he said he wouldnt rule it out cuz hes seen weirder things. The only other thing i can think of is the ring is done. My symptoms of my car are it idles like shit. It runs like i permanatly have an ignition wire unplugged but its not that its just an example. I know i probably wont be able to find out if it is that or not till i remove the head but if anyone knows or has any advice please tell me. Im hoping its a ring cuz then ill do a frankenstien but please help until i know i cant really sleep.

It sounds to me a ring too but you wont know for sure until u open it up.
