I finally got the Maxx back this afternoon. Had taken it in early yesterday morning. Now I remember why I avoid Mondays, if I can. They did hardly anything in a day and a half.
On the way to the dealer, ironically, the DIC reported a message (and gongs) to "Check Gas Cap". Pulled over thinking the neighborhood kids had messed with it on Sunday. It was fine. I took it off, put it back on, all fine. Did it twice again today, so on the list that goes.
Fuel guage issue is NOT a new guage cluster, its that I need a new sending unit. But it's on order. Typical GM with first-year models.
Reported the snapping sunshades. No fix yet was the report, as expected.
Last, but certainly NOT least, is the trannie TSB, as reported in an earlier thread. GM will not authorize repairs until one of two things occurs: 1) computer reports trouble codes, or 2) trannie fails. Swell.
I've been happier.
