idle

My 240 is idling like shit right now. Every time i stop it idles rough up and goes up and down the rpm's. I was reading up on it and it said the AAI valve was the problem for some people.Others said the IAA valve. How do i check if that is the problem wit my car? I have no idea how to check if they r the problem.

anyone know anything about those valves???
