94 GTP starting problem

My 94 GTP has a starting problem. Sometimes it starts fine on the first try, at other times you have to turn the key 2 or three times to get it to start (no solenoid noise when it doesn't start). The battery is 6 months old. Last week it took several tries to start.

Any ideas -- oh wise ones?

Check your positive battery cable. Fidget with it. That seems to be going around lately.
