im in the process of installing my injen cai....the last step says "replace the coolant line with the 6mm hose provided with the kit" but i have no idea what this coolant line is....is it a big deal if i dont replace it with the new one? quick responses are appreciated

Well, that hose is the only one you replace when you install an intake, so that has to be it.

no it came with 2 hoses....it says "slip the 10mm hose from the vacuum fitting on the valve cover to the fitting on the intake" then it says "replace the coolant line with the 6mm hose provided with the kit" i got the 10mm hose on but i dunno what to do with the 6mm one..ohwell, i guess itll be ok

Ok, here's what I think. Note: this is based on a 6Gen Dx, I'm assuming it's a similiar install.
The reason the coolant line has to be replaced on the 6Gen is because when you change the breather hose the stock coolant hose is permanently attached to it, so you need a new coolant hose too. I assume it's the same for you, so if your stock hoses were attached you'll need the coolant hose, otherwise, I guess you don't really need it?
