5 lug conversion with wheels

Ok here is my questions friends, I want to put the 96 cobra SVT wheels from ford motorsport on my 87 mustang gt but i need to get a few things straight 1st. #1 i need 5 lugs not 4 so i have read in here that 5 lug rotors from a 91 lincoln lsc would swap right on? #2 the rear 9 1/34 drums from an 8.8 ford ranger will work? i am getting 31 spline 5 lug axles , will this pose any problems with the conversion? I have installed 93 gt front fender extentions to eliminate tire rub, is there more clearance problems that i am not aware of? The 96 chrome SVT rims are 19X8 i beleive. thanks again all.

You are right about the rotors. Your right about the drums. You can't use 31-spline axles unless you change to a 31-spline differential. Stock 96 Cobra SVT rims are not 19x8.

If you think that chrome 96 cobra rims are 19x8 don't even think about digging into the suspension.

when my uncle was doing his 4 lug conversion on an 89lx, he just bought the rear end out of a lower mileage 94-95gt from the junkyard, and swapped stuff over. i dont rem what he did for the front.
