Motor swap 89GT Turbo -> 89 LX

This is my first time posting here, wuz up to everyone!! I'm actually asking a question for a friend of mine who has an 89 Probe GT Turbo and is looking to possibly swap the motor and transmission into an 89 Probe LX. The body on his 89 GT is pretty much rusted through. Can it be done? Direct bolt on? Thanks.

Hey man post something if you find an answer. I'd love a better engine for my 89' LX but I don't have the money for a mazda right now. I was wondering too how hard it would be so reply if you do find something. thanks

it is the same moter except one is turbo and the other one isn't.so it willl bolt right in
