jerkin off

what the...........i've got a mk5 escort 1993 1.8lxi....it's just been serviced but this aint cured my prob.
every now and then,when i'm driving along,the car seems to jerk & pull,and just for a split second or two it feels as if its gonna stall or die on me.
needless to say,this is worrying.
i thought maybe having new oil and the filters changed might do the job,but it still does it.
can anyone shed any light on the subject.........please???????

You might wanna try doing plugs, wires, etc.

have you checked the fuel system?

i hope it aint gonna get too expensive ,cos i'm skint.
