power steering pump..water pump?

I was sitting idle at a stop light, when i heard/felt this really loud thump from underneath my car, and then my battery light was on, but the car was still running and such. When the light turned green, i realized i then had no power steering, and still do not. I had just gone outside, after being home approximately a 1/2 hour, and my power steering fluid level is fine, but there is a nice sized puddle of anti-freeze under my car, and all over the bottom.. any ideas?

nevermind. after taking a closer look in the day light, i think my waterpump went.. which ended up popping off the pully that is near it, which made my belt all loose and what have you, therefore.. i had no power steering. amazing how things work.
