NO spark!!

We have a 1993 Chevy Astro van 4.3 V6 TBI. It is not getting any spark it does get fuel but no spark! We have put a new coil, pickup coil, distributer cap & rotor, module, fuel pump & fuel pressure regulator all new parts in this van. Do you have any ideal as why there is no spark?? help please. is the coil getting power and ground? a test light will tell ya. i think ther is a ground wire that connects to the top passenger side tranny bolt that gets all greasy.. clean and tighten it... if no power check the fusible links at the starter (this is the one i'm betting on)

Hey, here is what I would try. Try it if you like. You have already done a lot of work that should have covered it but lets start at the simple stuff. Good luck.

1. Is the distributor turning? Remove the cap and crank the engine. Nylon timing gears or bad cam/distr gears can fail.
2. I know someone already mentioned this one but make sure you have power to the coil during crank and run. Use a test light to check for power with key on. Then get someone to crank the engine, you should still have power.
3. Now check the ground on the coil to the block with an ohm meter. Should be near zero.
4. If you have a good power source and a good ground, the distributor is turning, the pick-up coil and module are working then you will have spark. Pull the coil wire from the distributor cap, use a spark tester ( you can make one by taking an old spark plug and some wire. strip a few inches from one end of the wire, wrap it around the threads on the plug a couple of times. Take a small hose clamp and put it around threads over the wire and tighten. attach the other end of the wire to the chassis ground with a clamp or vise-grips. Push the plug into the coil wire and crank the engine, you should see a bright blue spark jumping the gap.

Thanks for the replies.I've tried all of the suggestions and still no luck. After going through my Haynes repiar manual several times and running all the tests repeatedly, still nothing. I am not getting any voltage at the "+" pin on ignition module. The manual states if voltage is less than 10 volts there is a fault in the wire between the module pos. terminal and the coil pos. connector or ign. coil and primary circuit to ign. switch.
I have done continuity tests on the wires from the module to the coil and from module to the computer and they are good. Could the neutral safety switch cause no spark? Or what about the electric cylinder that locks the shifter in park until the brake pedal is depressed?

is the ignition switch bad????

How do you check the switch? My manual only explains how to replace it , not how to test it.

HOOOORAA!!!! I finally got! After talking to another mechanic that runs his own shop,he told me to go back and retest my components and start with the pick-up coil. He has a software system that he printed out some info for me. Come to find out the new pick-up coil was bad. Thanks to all that replied and I hope someone else will benefit from this.
